Safeguarding

If something or someone at one of our clubs has made you feel unsafe, uncomfortable or worried, for yourself or for someone else, we want to hear from you. You will be listened to, taken seriously, and what you tell us is kept private.

Two ways to tell us

Email us. Write to safeguarding@vidadelpadel.co.uk and tell us what is worrying you.

Report online. Fill in the short form. You do not have to give your name.

Reporting without your name is fine. It can limit what we are able to do, because we cannot come back to you for detail or tell you what happened, and we will still act on whatever we can.

Not sure if it is serious, or who to tell? Start with us. We will listen, take it seriously, and help you find the right support.

In an emergency

If someone is in immediate danger, or a crime is happening, call the police on 999.

For a crime that is not an emergency, call 101. For advice about a child's safety, the NSPCC helpline is 0808 800 5000.

What happens after you report

  • We will listen, take you seriously, and treat you with respect.
  • We will keep the information confidential and share it only with those who need to know to keep people safe.
  • We will explain what we can and cannot do.
  • We will keep you informed about what happens next, as far as we are able.
  • We will never treat you unfairly for raising a concern in good faith.

Who is responsible

Club Safeguarding Lead: Cory Skrzypkowski, cory@vidadelpadel.co.uk. Owns our safeguarding policy, receives serious concerns, decides on referrals to the police or statutory bodies, and keeps the records.

Venue Welfare Officer: the first point of contact at each site. Listens, records, supports the person, and escalates to the Safeguarding Lead. This role is an LTA venue requirement.

Padel in Great Britain is governed by the LTA, and our policy is written to sit alongside the LTA Venue Safeguarding Standards.
