This policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on vidadelpadel.com, what they do, and how you control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains everything else we do with personal information.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website puts on your device when you visit. It lets the site remember things, for example what is in your basket, whether you are signed in, or which pages you have looked at. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags and local storage, and where we say "cookies" in this policy we mean all of them.
2. The rules we follow
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, we can set strictly necessary cookies without asking you. Everything else, meaning analytics, personalisation and advertising, needs your consent before it is set.
You give or refuse that consent through the cookie banner when you first visit, and you can change it at any time using the link in the footer of our site.

Our website runs on Shopify, so most of the cookies below are set by Shopify on our behalf.

4. Cookies set by other people
Some parts of what we do sit on other companies' platforms, and their cookies apply when you are there rather than ours.
- Playtomic. Court, class and event bookings run on Playtomic. When you go to Playtomic to book, their cookie policy and privacy policy apply.
- Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. If a page on our site embeds a post or a feed from one of these, that platform may set cookies.
- Our rewards app. The app is separate from this website and has its own terms.
We do not control these cookies. Their own policies explain what they do.
5. How to control cookies
On our site. Use the cookie banner when you first arrive, or the cookie settings link in the footer at any time, to accept or refuse anything that is not strictly necessary.
In your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. The settings are usually under Privacy or Security. Blocking all cookies will stop parts of our site working, including the basket and the checkout.
Analytics opt out. Google offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics collecting data on any site, at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Advertising. You can manage ad preferences inside your Instagram, Facebook and Google accounts, and at youronlinechoices.com.
6. Do Not Track
Browsers can send a Do Not Track signal. There is no agreed standard for how a website should respond to it, so our site does not currently respond to it. Use the cookie banner instead, which we do act on.
7. Changes
We update this policy when the cookies on our site change. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
