Padel is having a moment in the UK. And things are moving pretty quickly at Vida Del Padel too.
With international padel currently taking place in the UK at the FIP Silver Stratford, and the professional calendar continuing to grow, there has never been a more exciting time to be involved in the sport.
But you don't have to be watching professional padel to be part of it.
At Vida Del Padel, we're seeing the sport grow from the ground up, with more players getting involved, more sessions happening across our clubs and new Vida communities continuing to take shape.
So, if you've been wondering what's actually happening at Vida right now, here's your update.
Seven clubs, one Vida
Vida Del Padel has now grown into a network of seven live clubs across the UK, with Lincoln, Chichester, Hartlepool, Sheffield, Eston, Guisborough and Hull all part of the Vida community.
And we're not stopping there.
Wakefield is currently in the pipeline, with more locations continuing to follow as Vida Del Padel builds towards a growing national network.
What's important to us isn't simply opening more courts.
Every new club means another community.
Another place for someone to play their first game.
Another place to meet people.
Another place for regular players to find their next match.
That's really what Vida is about.
There's more than one way to play
One of the biggest things happening across Vida right now is the sheer variety of ways to get involved.
Our What's On calendar is packed with open matches, coaching sessions, Americanos, social tournaments and match play, with sessions running across different levels and abilities.
You could start your week with a beginner clinic, jump into an Americano after work or test yourself in a more competitive tournament at the weekend.
And if you're completely new to padel, that's absolutely fine too.
Our sessions are designed to give players different ways to get involved, rather than simply turning up, playing a game and heading home.
Because the best part of padel is often everything that happens around the game.
The VDP community is getting bigger
Vida has always been about more than court hire.
Our clubs are built around people, competition, coaching, social events and that feeling of having somewhere you belong.
That's why our clubs have their own communities, regular social sessions and events.
From beginner mix-ins to competitive Americanos, women's sessions to themed events, there is always something happening.
And that community element becomes even more important as more people discover the sport.
You don't necessarily need four friends who already play padel.
You just need to get yourself on court.
The rest can come from there.
And then there's Hull...
One of the biggest developments for Vida this year has been the continued expansion of the club network, including Hull.
The new club adds another Vida community to the map and is part of the next stage of the brand's growth.
It is exactly the kind of development that makes the current moment so exciting.
What started with Lincoln has grown into a national community, with new clubs, new players and new experiences continuing to come together.
So, what's next?
Honestly, quite a lot.
There are new clubs coming, more coaching, more tournaments, more socials and plenty of opportunities to get involved.
And while the professional padel world continues to grow, we're just as interested in what is happening on our own courts.
The first-time player picking up a racket.
The group of friends who suddenly become obsessed with padel.
The regular who finally wins their first Americano.
The beginner who joins a social and ends up coming back every week.
That's the Vida Del Padel story.
It's not just about how big padel becomes.
It's about the communities we build around it.
And right now, there's plenty happening.
Come and be part of it
